Patch 5.5 Client Bug

I downloaded the recent 5.5 Patch and now, the moment I log in, some of the League homepage on the client opens(mainly the text), an FR shows up for a second, and then my whole computer crashes. I have to manually restart it and then deal with this problem again. I've tested it about 3-5 times now, so I know for sure that its got something to do with League itself because I can still run Firefox and Chrome just fine.

EDIT: Seems that all my anti-virus software has also bugged out or have stopped working. Not sure if this is related in anyway though

It's not anti-virus software causing this problem, my computer is just freezing up as soon as the client opens as well. I even reinstalled the game to repair the files, nothing works. It's just an even more broken patch in a line of progressively more and more broken patches and needs to be fixed

What anti-virus software are you using specifically? People are reporting issues with avast!.

My friend also got this problem and we just couldn't figure out how this happened D: I think riot gonna have to give an explanation here
