this is the second discussion, the client denies my first attempt to login and then leaves me on authenticating, this started with 8.5 i would love some help please. thank you.

Have you tried running the Hextech Repair Tool to troubleshoot your connectivity to the server? If you haven't you should give it a shot, can't hurt to try!

Also, please MAKE SURE that you run the tool with administrator privileges! You can do so by right clicking the .exe file and left clicking Run as Administrator.
