I don't know why no one has noted this yet but, I really hate the way kalista's passive is stealing every thing gold wise, including runics when its charge is up. Its making last hitting with runics hard if not down right impossible as a support and I feel like that needs to change. Runics/targons/FoTM should take priority over her passive gold securing.

Yes, and its terrible with tanky supports that use runics.
So... what's runics? Targon's brace shares gold, but no item exists with "Runics" in the name right now. Is it a nickname?
Relics, my bad. I've always had people say runics, so eventually it just stuck with me.
I feel like melee support champs benefit the most out of kalistas ult for gap closing and typically, those that are melee and support are tanky champs that would take relics. So basically, this problem punishes that line of support style (example: sorry Taric - he who has no gap closer to make best use of his stun at closest range possible).
Its a special condition sort of thing, based on the minions hp as to who gets the gold. Ive had a game where it worked normal then others it didn't so well. It might be based on if the minion has just a little too much hp for runics execute but enough for W passive kill. Could even be the other way around and its when the minion has enough hp for the passive to kill it and priorities over relics. Ive had several minions just get kill secured, that or my eyes are deceiving me.
Any case, its too late in the night for me to dedicate custom games for reproducing to find out. I could be wrong after all.
