Black Screen when Joining Champ Select

I was waiting to join a queue, i pressed accept and the launcher went black and the champ select screen never came up, it was just black. i waited and waited and it sent me back to the main launcher page and when i tried to join another queue, it made me wait 5mins... saying I abandoned a game from champ selection or whatever... [slayer-jinx-unamused]
