Unable to ranked queue with correct divisions/MMR.

First off I'd like to mention that I sent in a ticket already and was told to post here.

I finished season 5, and preseason 6, in platinum. Early in the morning yesterday, right after ranked was up, I tried inviting a few friends to dynamic queue and received errors stating they were not between the diamond and gold divisions. Normal ranked solo/duo did not fix this. This error did not occur for everyone I tried to invite, but I did make sure to note that the people I invited had met the following:

1. They were a full division or two lower than they finished in preseason 6. This means if they finished season 5 in gold they got to platinum in the preseason. Same with silver>gold, plat>diamond, and so on.
2. They were in the two division ranges of the accounts I tried inviting them on.

What I noticed was that on my platinum account I was unable to invite someone that finished season 5 silver, but got to gold+ in the preseason. I confirmed this by going on a silver account and tried to invite someone that finished season 5 gold, but in the preseason got to diamond. I was able to get into a ranked game with them.

I then tried with an account that had its ranked rewards removed, this one, and finished preseason and season 5 in platinum. I'm unable to queue with anyone WHO FINISHED SEASON 5 ABOVE GOLD, but still able to queue with those who were below gold in preseason but finished above platinum. This sealed the deal. I'm convinced the queueing system is using the end of season 5 reward tiers instead of actual MMRs for duo/trio/quad/penta queuing. I'm not sure why, but it certainly isn't using post season 5 MMR.

I'm not sure what this means, whether it impacts placements (say you climbed from bronze>diamond in preseason, would you still pair with bronzes and place with silvers?), or anything else. All I know is that the queuing system is messed up, and I as a platinum am able to queue up with a bronze account for my 10 games. Easily exploitable for platinum-challenger players who are able to queue with bronze/silver/gold players, but not something I'm intending on doing (who knows what the accounts actual MMR are or where they'll place?).
