Why does the enemy team get higher ranked players than my team?

You must be having selective memory, your last game was pretty fair.. same lp/divisions or 1 higher/lower btw like 10 lp

Because you never notice the game where you get the higher rated team, however the system works off MMR, so in theory rank means nothing, you could be Diamond playing with bronze if you MMR is bad enough and vice versa.
