Hitbox lag on vayne

Is there hit box lag on vayne? I've run into multiple occasions where I tumble or flash and skill shots still hit me for the good part of a second on the original location after the player model moves/animation is playing. I know it's not my network since I have a great connection with 35 ping and good up/down bandwidth. It seems to me like it's a part of how the game is handled for her, is this true?
