Lee Sin Safe Guard bug?

Hey Riot friends, I have a gameplay issue that I'm not sure if it is a bug or not, regardless it would be a great QoL update for Lee Sin's self casting Safe Guard. The only champion I can think of at the moment that I know this for sure effects is Lee Sin because of his unique shield interaction with himself vs minion/wards.

The way things currently are, if I self cast Safe Guard but my cursor is hovering over a minion/ward Lee Sin will Safe Guard to the minion/ward, thus not shielding himself. (This is particularly damaging to Lee Sin if you are trying to lane with him.) The issue with making Safe Guard prioritize the hop, is that solely based on your cursor position, you can unintentionally damage your entire champions position and end up without a shield, merely because you tried to self cast.

Other info: This is 100% reproducible, just go into a game, start with Safe Guard, hover over a minion with your cursor, and try to self cast Safe Guard.

I don't know how hard it would be to make his W prioritize the self cast if you try to self cast when hovering over other things you can actually cast the ability to, but if it is possible, that would literally be the best!

Sincerely,

I Didn Do It

Edit: Forgot to mention, this also happens if you W yourself (Not self cast) when there is a minion behind your character model, you W to the minion instead of yourself, even if your champ is highlighted.

Bump until I know that Reds are at least looking into this, all I want is for it to prioritize Self Cast over where your cursor is, if you self cast with your cursor over somewhere you can hop to, the game ignores the self cast every time
