Client Play Button Keeps turning to a Gray Color

This is happening for about more than a week now. Whenever I logged onto the** UPDATED** League client, the play button up at the left corner turns to a gray color. Making me unable to click play. When I got an invite, I clicked the little check mark and a message in red popped up, "Sorry something went wrong! Please try again in an a moment." Any solutions to fix this bug? Please help :)
