[Client] Does trading not work anymore?

This might just be some extremely bad luck on my side, but:

Earlier in my ranked game, my Jhin and Udyr failed to trade champions, so I figured they just had connection issues.

Going into my next game, I offered to trade Shy for Akali (as she said she wanted Shy, and would pick Akali for me). However, in doing so, she wouldn't accept the trade for some reason, and didn't respond in chat either. Possible dc? I dodged it, since I didn't want to lose lp again.
