[CRASH] Inability to interact with client after trying to select summoner spell

Well I chose to play a ranked game, which is rare for me, and while clicking the summoner spells the game crashed (turned a lighter color) and I could not interact with the client any longer, resulting in the inability to chose my champion. I was able to launch the game again which had to terminate the client & caused me to dodge. This bothers me mostly because that game is now considered a loss and also other punishments which I feel are undeserved. I've only had this happen once that I can recall, but took a screenshot when it happened.
