[Gameplay} Jax dodging gangplank q

If banshees vail is able to block gangplank q then his q is counted as an ability. With jax's E it says it can dodge aa's and not abilities. Gangplank's does PROC on hit effects but still IS NOT an auto attack. This has been around for a very long time and I did look it up. He can dodge gp q, but not wukong or garen q? Even though they are considered basic attacks? Pls..

Gangplank's Q is considered an attack and treated as such by all things (sheen procs, red buff, Frozen Mallet, etc).
