Client glitch? - most played champions.

I play 95% of PVP 5v5's Normal. Would this effect me not being able to see how many times I have played a character on the most played champions roster for normal games? Because I think you have to play ranked games in order for it to keep track of this. Which I find odd. I must have played Malzahar atleast 100 times but doesn't show.

I only ever did ranked three times and it shows three characters that I used in ranked only that I have played one time on the roster.
