Ashe Ult Can't Override Warwick Ult - Intentional?

I had a game recently where the enemy Warwick   Warwick attempted to gank ult me from jungle. I Ashe was able to fire off my ult in time in an attempt to stop him (which is sorely needed on an ADC with one of the lowest mobilities in the game), only to have his ult override it (mine fizzled). Was this an intentional design choice?

Yes, he's unstoppable while jumping, but you can CC him after while he's wailing on the target.

Warwick is "unstoppable" during the leap, meaning he cannot be stunned during it.

Ashe has low mobility because she can slow everybody around her, allowing her to kite for days and keep enemies from escaping.

Ah, good to know, thanks for the clarification!
