Potential bug with Malzahar

I have noticed a potential problem with Malzahar's cc. Last week I was in a game 5v5 my girl friend was playing Malzahar she dropped her ult on their adc and he could still auto attack. even though he had no idea why he was able to. To my understanding he had no active item to remove cc, nor did a team mate have an item to remove it for him. Yesterday I flashed (e) on a teleporting Shen, it wasn't Shens ult I know the difference through sound affect and cast time. His teleport still worked even while taking damage. I saw my (e) drop on him my team had seen the visual affect too, I then had a cd for the ability. I have seen someone else teleport while taking damage too this week. It may or may not have been with Malzahar I do not remember the details of that instance. There is a slight chance it was with a Malzahar, my girl and I play regularly and she spams him mid.
