Cursor disappears in game,

I was just in a dominion game with my friend and not even a minute into the game my cursor disappears from the screen. The entire time before this I was just sitting at spawn using skill shots as Ezreal to build up my tear. If I right clicked I would move and the arrows of me clicking would appear. All functions of the mouse were fine I just could not see where I was hovering over. Buying items was a pain... I alt tab'd out of the client and at my dashboard I saw about 5 or 6 horizontal lines. These lines were from top to bottom had the same height as the in game cursor. they were spaced with about 4 pixels between each one. They were tiny lines but were noticeable. When I moved my mouse the lines moved as if they were my mouse, and they were. I could do every function properly but my cursor still was not there. I opened a few tabs and ran a few different programs on my computer to see if the problem would just go away. Finally about 3 minutes later it did. I closed everything and jumped back on league and everything was fine. Until five minutes later when it happened again. If i moved my mouse to the top right of the screen in league i could see the lines. If i moved them towards the middle of the screen or anywhere else they vanished and I was back to raging. I did not take a screenshot for I don't know how to sadly on a windows 8. I have never really needed to before. I just wanted to report this and see if the problem might have been caused by anything known already. This has never happend to me in any other game mode or any other program.
