Unable to log into game

Just tried to log into the game to play some, but I can't log in. I'm getting a "we're unable to log you in because you may be offline." message above where I type in my user name. Both that and the password along with the sign in button are all greyed out. I was on earlier today and everything was fine, and clearly I'm not offline as I'm posting on the message boards. I checked the server status which says the games online, and I've tried closing and restarting League of Legends getting the same message though. I'm not sure if this is a bug or what it is.

Same issue. after game finished i got booted from my party. Decided to relog and now i cant log back in.

Same issue and I tried to do what someone else with the same issue did on the forum but it didn't work for me... but maybe it'll work for you? Link

says I may be offline but my internet works fine. bug in the game or something.

getting the same problem put a ticket down just glad its not only me
