calculating differences...?

I'm 6,000 files in and it's still going strong. Am I reinstalling the game? I've restarted once thinking it was a glitch, but I can't figure out why the game is scanning every single file before I can launch.

-I already have 5.14 installed

-I just played yesterday

-I play on a MAC and was experiencing no issues regarding crashing yesterday.

I can't even launch the game right now. What is this?
