Leaver Buster threatened me when i didnt leave.

I got disconnected at least 10 times during a match, after which i reset my router and was forced to restart the client to get back into the game. I finished the game as part of the team, and afterwords was still threatened by leaverbuster for leaving the game, which was not my fault, nor was it true. I started the game and finished it.

I was forced to accept riots leaver buster "contract" and agree to not leave any more games.

I gotta say though, i going to become uncontrollably angry if my account gets banned by leaver buster due to getting disconnected from an unstable internet connection. Its infuriatingly bad enough to get disconnected or have lag in the first place, its a whole new level of bullshit to get banned because of such a unstable connection that is 100% out of the players control. Not only would I go to my bank and file to reverse the payments of 100% of the money spent on this account. But i would flood the forums with rage posts which i feel anybody in such a situation is entitled to do.

So yea, lets make the world a slightly happier place and work on the way leaver buster detects its "victims".

The tribunal is sufficient to deal with leavers, leaver buster was a waste of development time and money, seeing as it worked just fine 3 years ago when i started playing, my first account got banned at lvl 5 for leaving games (i had never played a moba before, and i was just trying the game out at that point). But it was not until recently that the new school leaver buster started threatening players who dc.

This is your problem right here: you have an unstable internet connection. Riot is not responsible for your internet connection, YOU ARE. It is your job and your responsibility alone to make sure that you have an adequate internet connection before you start playing. If you queue up for a match made game knowing full well that your internet connection is quite unstable, then you run the risk of ruining the game for 9 other players. If you have trouble staying connected, then Riot does have the right to punish you, as it is their responsibility to make sure there are as little leavers/dc's playing their game as possible.

Also, this is definitely NOT 100% out of your control, it is definitely in your control. If you're having this much trouble staying connected to the game, then I would suggest maybe getting a new router, increasing your internet speed, or anything that might help you have a more secure internet connection so that you can stay connected to the game. Like I said before, it is your job to make sure you have a good enough internet connection before you queue up for a game.

Now, Leaverbuster does have some leniency built into it. It won't punish you if you leave/dc from games OCCASIONALLY. Riot knows that this is just a game and that sometimes real life emergencies happen. That's why it only punishes you if you show a habit of leaving/dc'ing from many, many games.

Lastly, feel free to go to your bank and file to reverse 100% of the money you spent on this account. I can tell you right now that you're not going to get your money back.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR THE PURCHASE OF RIOT POINTS OR FOR VIRTUAL ITEMS OBTAINED USING RIOT POINTS.

This comes straight from the terms of use itself.
