Working on masteries in champ select.

So I was working on a new mastery page in champ select, had selected my champ so it should have auto locked at the end of the count down. No lock, instead it forces the champ select to end and kicks me and my group out of the que and gives me a dodging ban for 5 min. Is this well known or something just with latest patch?
