Runic armor mastery not affecting Hexdrinker or bloodthirster shield (Gameplay)

For the blood thirstier video i auto after being hit causing me to gain 19 extra hp which adds up to 199. However it should be capped at 194.4 or 194 total shielding and give me a total of 213 damage done to the shield in the video.

better video below of me taking only 279 damage with bloodthirstier shield and taking sames rune and masteries as above. When the bloodthirster shield should be with runic armor 280*1.08 = 302.4 hp or 302 hp total should be seen.
