League of Legends 6.21.16_10_13_21_40 black client screen

My page in league is not showing the chats, my friends cannot chat with me nor can I access the list of the recent friends I have played with. Please help what the issue seems to be.

My League wont let me go onto the login screen at all. I've tried restarting everything, re-downloading adobe air, and re-downloading League twice. it just will not work on this computer

is there any reason? or is this to do with this particular patch because it only happened after patch 6.21
