Promo Matchmaking

So I am currently In my B1 promos for mid. But I have now been placed in Jg (my second position), for seven games in a row four played plus three dodged. I don't understand how this is possible. I remember seeing something in an early season patch about fixing this exact thing. i.e. not getting stuck playing other positions when you are in promos. Also in all of the other promo series I have played this season I have not had this issue. So I'm pretty sure at this point that something has gone wrong. Is there any way to fix this or do I just have to wait it out?
