This is the only champ where Taric's stun (E) is negated by a non spell shield ability, namely Master Yi's Q. He does not get stunned, i have noticed this is the few games i play support Taric vs Yi. If you use your E and Taric and Yi uses his Q the stun won't go off.
I am wondering if this is expected behavior or a glitch.
This is not the only time that Taric's E can be negated by non spell-shield ability. Others include:
In short, it's blocked by every single ability that have untargetable status - and Yi's Q is one of them. So yes, this is expected behaviour.
Yi should be untargetable during his Q. Your E shouldn't have gone off, or if you targeted him before the Q... it should dodge it.
The mechanic is there to reward anyone with the timing to go untargetable while a projectile is in flight.
