[GAMEPLAY] Nexus turrets produce a screeching sound when no targets are nearby.

Usually after a Nexus turret clears a few minion waves, the sound it produces when attacking does not turn off. Instead, the Nexus turrets continue to produce the sound effect that comes with attacking targets until it fully amplifies into a very loud screeching noise.

Although I'm not sure how it happens, it should be able to be recreated by sending some minion waves at the Nexus turrets.

This happens with everything that makes noises that can go into fog of war. Nexus turrets do this, enemy recalling does this, and it's not major, just slightly odd.

I'll be honest, I saw this on the general boards and thought it was suggestion, an awful one.

Now onto serious stuff, I've seen this once, and it's probably related to vision like someone said, I'd turn off sound effects, the effect on your game is much less than you'd think, and much less than the stress and headache.

Just turn off the sound man. That's what i did after that happened a few times and it worked fine for me. At least until rito can fix it

What if it actually screeched like a dying human.

I believe the steps to replicate this is as follows:

  1. Let enemy minions reach your nexus turrets.
  2. Move your camera away so you can't see or hear the turrets.
  3. Once all the minions are dead, move the camera to the turrets. The firing sound will not disable until you see it attack again.
