Bug with friend list/champ select

I've experienced a bug lately where if I'm in champ select or sometimes just on the landing page and I access my friend list/show offline friends, I get a Microsoft C++ runtime error and it forces the client to close. It's frustrating as I've had dodges from it due to absentmindedly accessing my friend list in champ select and this error occurs. I'm not sure how to reproduce it as I don't want to dodge in champ select anymore, just trying to see if anyone else is experiencing this.
