Games randomly dissapearing from match history

well i was playing a ranked game as vayne adc on my smurf account IGN : howx syndrome and all of a sudden my game froze, now i assuming it was a connection error restarted the game and attempted to reconnect but that was of no avail. I tried numerous times after which i restarted my PC and my wifi modem, it is to note that my net was working even when I dc'd. every time i tried to reconnect i would see the league of legends logo which you usually see before the loading screen and that was followed by a black screen, after 30-40 seconds it would time out and give me the option to reconnect. I thought my client was bugged so i logged onto my main to see if the problem was with my account or my client/net. after starting a custom games my game would load and everything was fine. after approximately 30 - 40 min the game which i dc'd from dissapeared as if none of it ever happened. my question , why is this even a thing, it can get so frustrating especially when your winning games . has this ever happened to any of you? and shouldnt we get some compensation LP for the game that magically vanished
