Any chance the Jayce weapon bug has left "trivial" hell?

You know, the bug where his weapon has no animations at all for more than a year. Last I heard was its too "trivial" to fix, but considering it also affects some of his skins which are paid products i would have hoped more priority goes into fixing this especially since other visual skin bugs get fixed all the time as well. I'm probably going to make this thread again if it hasn't been fixed when his next skin comes out.
