champion select crash

ok as I come to school playing lol from a long day came home around 5 and I logged on as usual and when I play it goes to champ select and It freezes and just shuts off the game when I logged on the next day which is today I got a report saying I will be perma banned if I disconnect quit or be "AFK" which is quite strange how it just shuts of my game saying I was afk
