Azir ulti

So i bought Azir last week and i had fun playing him but i noticed something. Sometimes the ulti just doesnt hit the enemies. For example the time when i noticed that was in a team fight. I used weq combo to get to the enemy and tried to push them into the turret with ulti. I pushed only a few of them but the adc just seemed to walk inside my ulti. I mean it literaly. He was walking inside it i couldnt push him. Yes i miss it sometimes im honest im still learning Azir but sometimes the ulti IS buggy.
