DARIUS APPREHEND pulling back KATARINA SHUNPO

So uh, for a long time I've played League, specifically Katarina, mained her for almost 2 and a half years now, woo. Around 3 thousand games of Kat experience, learned pretty much every aspect and detail of Kat to a T. I just have a question. Multiple times I've reacted to seeing Darius use his apprehend at me, and I shunpo successfully to a distant minion or something well out of Darius's range, but I'd get pulled all the way back to Darius from like 20 feet away from him after shunpo already went off. Is that supposed to happen? Shunpo is instant, after all. Like, if the apprehend actually touches me but I manage to shunpo away at the same time, is it a bug that I get pulled back because of the timing or is it supposed to be like that? I assume it's a hitbox and timing issue of course. Just wondering, cause it makes me sad when I'm like ahh safety, then bam back into his range. Crushing Q.Q
