Game ended over an hour but I'm still stuck trying to reconnect.

My friend and I's game ended and it told us both our game was still going on and that we had to reconnect, so we tried assuming it would just tell us its over and that would be that but it just crashed saying we couldn't connect and to try again. this issue usually says it bugs splat but it didn't and i figured it would be fine if i waited like 30 minutes or so. Its been over an hour or so and its still bugged. If someone can help me i really want to get back to playing. Thank you for the help

Couple things you can try ( I've had this problem before and some of these options fixed it )

Close the client using "Taskmanager" and restart program using "Run as administrator" now put in account info & login
Turn off computer and turn back on + Run as administrator and login
Disconnect your wifi and login to another network ( if you can ) now disconnect from this network and connect to your home network ( Gaming network ) and retry playing the game
If all else fails ( Which it should fix on the 1st ) uninstall LoL and re-install you shouldn't need step 4 so i'd just ask support if the above fails using https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us Asking for support on boards usually wont get you much help
