[Gameplay] Range indicators and smart cast trinkets
Currently there are problems with certain abilities range indicators with certain settings as well as using smart cast with trinkets. The settings I used are quick casting everything and replacing quick cast with quick cast with indicator (show range with button press and cast on button release).
Range indicators I have found 2 cases with problems with range indicators
The first is with aurelion sol's E and R abilities. The settings with problems are when you disable the line missile display. With line missile display on you can see the range of his E and R as normal. But turning it off will show no range at all instead of the usual circle of range. Below is a video showing this problem. http://plays.tv/video/5750bd8e931781a6ab/aurelion-sol-range-indicator-bug?from=user
The second case is with Anivia's Q indicator. In general there is no range shown for this ability (no circle of range). Below are two videos comparing the range indicator on Anivia's Q with Orianna's Q. I understand that Oriannas Q does not have a set range as with Anivia's Q, but the range indicators should still be the same. Having the circle or range shown gives you instant information of the ability in all directions instead of having to moving the ability aimer in that direction or estimating. http://plays.tv/video/5750bde9ea8013558a/anivia-q-range-indicator?from=user

Smart casting trinkets For this issue, smart casting trinkets will instantly place them on button push instead of button release. This has the effect of not showing the range of trinkets. Below I have a video of the yellow and sweeper trinkets compared to a normal pink ward and you can see the difference. The pinks show the range when I press the button and are placed on release while the trinkets are instantly placed on button push w/o showing the range. http://plays.tv/video/5750c88ba14e384b9d/trinket-smart-cast-bug?from=user
Sorry for any background noise in the videos.
