My client is calculating differences for no reason

I was playing one of my promos game when LoL crashed. Then, i closed client and oppened it again but it started calculating differences, over 5000 files scanned and still counting. My net is fine, I played with no issues before this game but now I will possibly be reported, loose my promos and get a leave on my match history. I would like to know what is going on and how can I fix it.

Most likely it's corruption in your client. This could be a sign of an impending hard drive failure. Back up all your shit as soon as you're not in a game and avoid playing LoL until you confirm that your HDD is in healthy condition.

It did this to literally EVERYONE today. there was a weird update in the middle of the day and me and about 20 friends were all kicked. dont listen to those tech nerds i doubt they even played today.
