Watching videos while in queue

I was watching one of the videos in the client's home page, specifically the OMG vs SHRC game 3 highlights video, while I was in queue. Once a match was found, I accepted. However, instead of taking me to champ select, all the sound stopped and the client went black. I was unable to do anything until champ select ended then it took me back to the landing page, where i had to wait to start queue again. Luckily it was normals so no real harm done but it could happen to someone trying to play ranked so fix please.
