[CLIENT - New Champion Select] Champion Quote upon locking in not playing

Is this "bug" still being looked at or has that feature been removed entirely? I feel like its been a few patches since I first noticed it and saw it reported and wanted to see if there were plans to fix this.

To those who don't know what I'm referring to, a few patches ago, when selecting a champion and locking in said champion their selection voice quote would play for everybody, not just for yourself. To elaborate, you would hear other players champion quotes when they locked in and not just your own lock in.

I thought it was a nice touch to champion select and allowed me to hear the quotes of champions I would otherwise probably never play.
