http://i.imgur.com/BtkQDNq.png so yeah, it's not really where it's supposed to be, I think the problem is that you must have messed up the date associated with it (put 2017 instead of 2016 maybe) It should be pretty easy to fix please do :)

I think it's sorted by the ID number of the icon, with larger numbers coming first. http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/6.20.1/img/profileicon/1382.png is 1382 http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/6.20.1/img/profileicon/2075.png is 2075
Not saying they couldn't change the IDs to put them in chronological order, but I don't think there are dates saved with the summoner icons by default.
