Weird 2nd time disconnection issue while connecting to a game

So this just happened while I was starting a game and its happened before recently: The game will try to load into the loading screen by the time everyone's done picking their champ and...well no screen ever comes up, even if I wait it out.

You may be thinking I could potentially ctrl+alt+del and end the processes in task manager, however I couldn't even do that when it's usually my go-to option for crashes. Nothing was loading, my computer was just in this limbo mode and the game client seems to have made it like that for some odd reason. I had this same issue about a week ago. Upon returning to the League Start up, I was greeted by a message that explained that it required me to patch again, which was something I've never seen the LoL client ever do.

I managed to come back into the game 5 levels behind my lane partner but was still about to comeback for a bit before we lost due to poor team communication near the end. The game I was fine with, but not this patching client issue.

I'm starting to wonder if this is the issue all the disconnectors are encountering seeing as how a lot of players either never come back or take a long period before their return.
