Tahm W after patch(?) [gameplay]

Was testing out Tahm Kench in an AI game and noticed a very abusable bug. When Tahm would eat an enemy he would sometimes gain the team mate consume speed buff instead of the enemy consume slow. I was able to Eat a Jarvan and carry him about 750 distance a couple times, same for Katarina, and did it once or twice vs a gangplank. Not sure if it happened because I consumed them as they tried to do a flash type move/lunge move ( which with GP I'm confused tbh) It seemed to randomly happen and fairly frequently like 6 or 7 times in one game. Only reporting this because this seems super abusable.

side note: is GP grog supposed to be able to free him from Tahm kench's devour?
