Moving focus away from the riot client causes desync (alt+tab)

I run windows 10 with a skylake i5. Not always, but very consistently when I change the focus to a different window, generally through alt+tab but also in general, the client desyncs. This is especially frustrating in champ select because the client has no idea that it has desynced (chat disconnect, select timers stall at 0) and I have to perform a work around by viewing notifications and hovering over my profile icon to force the client to send a new query and re-establish the connection. Of course if I don't immediately notice my own countdown times out and the system thinks I've dodged.

This also happens in the game load screen if I don't wait to reach 100% before alt-tabbing.

The riot client should not shit the bed because its process has been demoted to a background task (which is what's happening). I really don't care if I am using bandwidth in a different task. Slow is not the same as dropped. And I also have a lot of bandwidth so it's irrelevant.

Same here, so I keep LoL on the screen.
