Can't use shortcut to change language back

Sometimes I alt-tab out real quick to change music, and I have a second language (took Russian in HS.) and every now and then when I tab out and back in, it's stuck with the Russian language, not allowing me to change it back to English, making it hard to relay when enemies burn spells.
