RIOT are you planning on fixing the launcher/updater ?

The title says it all. Every patch I wait and hope the patcher doesn't bug out therefore prompting a complete file scan. To be frank I find a fresh install faster than a full scan. I'm just getting tired of doing this every other patch. I'm very curious if you have any long term plans to fix the bugs that make the updates stall out.
