Urgot Ult Bug

Cosmi Vox·7/27/2017, 5:04:57 AM·4 votes·1,561 views

While I was playing as Braum versing a Urgot my adc dropped below the threshold for urgots ult to activate the instakill. I jumped in front of the ult to save my adc while I was full health. However this did not stop the animation and instakilled me instead. I have not tried to reproduced this yet as I only experienced this once. If anyone else has experienced this or if this is already has been addressed let me know thanks.

i had the same thing. Braum using the E shield. It looks like i block the ult that was going to hit riven (and somehow get teleported back when it hits me) and it kills me at 1072/2300 health, which is above 25%. Death log said 1072 true damage and it looks like it was accurate. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/162300197

this was confirmed by riot to not be a bug, but i think its their poor excuse to hide their shit coding

Urgot's ult is pretty unique in away, as it makes the victim untargetable and deals 9999 true damage, also you didn't state how low your HP was.

They can't say that they do it on purpose. it's simply idiot as hell to say, OH if braum save bravely his teammate, HE WILL GET 100% DAMAGE !!! Completely stupid and I hope they will fix that. For the one that want to see a 100% health kill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2Si9BZPxr0&feature=youtu.be

Urgot ult is bugged as hell. I play almost Urgot only after remade and this is what i can tell. It works randomly. to many times I was not able to execute targets below 25%, even when I ulted them already with 20% or lower hp. And few times I ulted adc's while they was 70% or so HP :d

Did you have your shield up?

Yeah, Urgot's ult currently does 9999 damage to anyone, no matter what percentage health you're at. I'm assuming it's a bug, but who knows, since Riot is being quiet about it despite it happening to almost everyone I know or have talked to at least once a game with urgot.

One hundred percent intentional. It could be changed, but as it stands right now the chains for the execute are their own targeted projectile that on contact with the target suppress them and begin the execute. If intercepted by Braum, they will suppress him instead.

Strictly speaking;

If the target is below 25% of their maximum health, Fear Beyond Death can be re-activated, and automatically does so after 3 seconds if the target is within the threshold. SECOND CAST: Urgot begins channeling as he launches chains at the target, Suppression icon suppressing them on impact and reeling them in over X seconds, during which they are untargetable by other effects. The channel can only be interrupted by Urgot's death. If the channel is successful, the target is executed and surrounding enemies are Fear icon terrified for 1.5 seconds.

The target of the first shot must be below 25% health for the chains to be able to fire, but after they connect, short of invulnerability, suppression removal, or killing Urgot, they execute the suppressed target at any health. Again, the 25% threshold is to fire them.
