mord harvesters of sorrow bug

I was just in an aram (link above for build/runes/masteries) and for some reason mord's harvesters of sorrow would go to a random ally whenever I cast it, sometimes even a champ who out of the cast range. with the exception of me being right on top of the person I cast it on it seemed to have no rhyme or reason as to who it would go to.
