Ziggs Ultimate CD Insta Reset Bug

I was playing a bots game to practice some of my mechanics and builds with Ziggs, and at one point I dove a Zyra bot using my satchel charge to get past her turret. We were between the inner turret and the inhib turret, so when I was low and she placed her ultimate, I had nowhere to run. Knowing I was going to die with my w on cd, I cast my ultimate.

I placed the cast just a fraction of a second before her ult exploded and killed me, and I thought my spell hadn't cast because my ultimate icon was still off cd, but then I looked back up and she was dying in a mega inferno (heyo).

tl;dr -- I cast my ult right as I was dying, it exploded after I was dead, and even though I very clearly got a kill with it, the cd never activated.

I really have no idea how precise the timing would have to be to reproduce this, but it probably has to be really stupid close. I also wouldn't be surprised if there are similar bugs littered throughout the game. (Might pay to do a little investigating, eh Rito?) It is likely very rare, so I don't think it is game breaking, but I thought I should mention it.

PS I got three pentakills in this game. Riot please give us some tougher bots.
