Mac Client 5.3 patch "unspecified error"

Im having problems downloading the update on the patch 5.3 today. I'm on the mac client (not sure if its just mac users) and it scans files up to around 1400 and then i get an unspecified error and the download just stops. Tried 5 times so far with no luck. Rito plz!

what worked for me is clicking settings on the download page and enabling peer to peer transfer. But now I'm getting the black screen of death after Champion lock and then the firewall message. Im on a 2013 Mac book air :(
