Mute system bugged for months

Please fix this bug, jesus, it's really annoying when you're muting but still be able to hear their pings to communicate with them in some way. Even if you use "Mute allied chat" you lose the privilege to time summoner spells and shotcall for your team, which is really problematic.

Even if this does not get fixed asap, could we at least get a confirmation by a Rioter that this is being adressed as of now?
