[BUG] Rank is showing up weird...

I just won a game, putting me into promos to enter Gold 1. Then, i played a game recently, and it autofilled me jungle (though i am confident i am autofilled protected, as i only play support) and then, after our ensuing loss, said i am back in provisionals. I don't understand.

The loss only counted to your jungle not your support or w/e the role you were playing to get into gold 1.
