stunned in mid air as pantheon

So i was playing as pantheon and as i started grand skyfall to fall in the same location i was, morgana began her ult. Her ultimate stayed on me as i was in mid air and stunned me when i hit the ground again. is this a bug or how the game works because he should be untargetable while in grand skyfall.
