Everyone's complaining about the black screen; personally, whenever anyone dodges a match, I have my client freeze for way too long of a time, keeping all of my friends waiting.

This is beyond frustrating-- I really dont want to wait an entire patch for this to fix. I dont think anyone wants to.

Please dont wait a full patch for this, please, please hotfix this.

They always hotfix bugs like this if they can. They're likely working on the solution right now. Bugs aren't that easy to fix. First, you have to find the cause, and then figure out a way to change the code so that it still does what it's supposed to and doesn't have the bug in it. They can't just push a button and have a fix. Compare bugs to diseases in the real world. There was a time, before it was figured out what colds actually did to the body and how to cure it, when people believed every disease to be in the blood, and as such, believed that draining blood would cure the disease. More often than not, it just killed the patient, but that's all they knew how to do at the time. It's actually how George Washington died - he died from blood loss trying to cure a disease he had that today is no more than a minor annoyance.

Earlier today I got black screen in champ select, and for days now it's been taking me like 20-30 seconds to load into champion select. It was freak luck I never got first ban or I would have been forced to dodge. Anyway, afterward I went and closed all open convos and deleted a bunch of people I never play with off of my ridiculously long friend's list and am now keeping it minimized. After that, champ select loaded instantly, no lag, no black screen. Go figure.

I have the exact same bug where my client freezes up when someone dodges.

And if I force quit league and open it, it takes two minutes (or so) to start back up. Strangely, when you do this you don't have to log in; you go straight to the lobby you were in. And the client will show you as online until you log back in. Even if it's hours later.
